Full Service Public Relations Campaign
For the Protect Pay Transparency campaign, we built a visual identity around a simple idea: workers shouldn’t have to guess what a job pays. The creative turns hidden salaries into something deliberately absurd, using Magic 8 Balls, blurred type, redactions, and consumer ephemera to make secrecy look as outdated as it should feel.
The result mixes early-internet nostalgia with a pop culture reference (the campaign launched just as the latest season of Stranger Things was airing), giving a wonky policy fight a visual language that is strange, funny, and immediately understandable without losing the seriousness of what is at stake.

Washington State lawmakers are considering bills that will transform our state’s effective pay transparency laws into nothing more than an illusion.
Send a message to your legislators:
Vote NO on HB 2377, SB 6100, & SB 6221
Pay transparency that exists in name only doesn’t help workers or employers.
Tell Washington lawmakers to protect pay transparency.
Vote NO on HB 2377, SB 6100, & SB 6221.
Sending a message takes less than a minute.
Washington State’s current pay transparency laws work because they are both simple & enforceable; Employers must post pay ranges, and workers have a well defined path to hold them accountable when they don’t.
