Visual Art & Graphic Design
Every visual design project I take on lives at the intersection of craft and meaning.
I approach each project as both a piece of art and a platform form communication, waiting to to tell a story. I work across a wide swath of mediums but the through line of my work is that it has intention, clarity, and feeling.

Add-A-Ball Calendar of Events
This ongoing poster series for Add-A-Ball treats the monthly calendar as a living artifact, blending show listings with bold illustration, hand-built typography, and a tactile, print-forward sensibility.
Each piece balances structure, readibility, and spontaneity, using consistent grids as a backbone while letting color, texture, and visual motifs shift to reflect the mood of the month and the music inside the room.
Together, the posters function as both practical schedules and collectible ephemera, rooted in local music culture and designed to feel pulled from a well-loved venue wall rather than a screen.

Rob Foxcurran for King County Assessor
This brand direction foregrounds accuracy, method, and consistency speaking to idea that the assessor is the steward of an enormous civic memory including our homes, land, neighborhoods over time. The visual language references historic property cards, handwritten ledgers, and archival records, to speaks to responsible custodian of public property records.
I also took portraits for the candidate for his print and digital materials. We shot them on the porch of their home and walking through their neighborhood. Their daughter was a real wild child, my favorite kind of little lady, so getting her to sit and pose wasn't going to work. Instead I brought a prize pouch with some small toys to keep her engaged and to use the power of a good bribe to capture them. No, they aren't posed but this is actually who he and his family is, which I believe is the ultimate goal when shooting portraits for a candidate.

Chris King & The Gutterballs
Chris King & The Gutterballs know the secret to creative success; movement is key to progress. Whether by a gust of tornado wind or rubber against the road, pushing forward is all there is in a life, buoyed and scarred by love. The band infuses this propelling urgency in all of its performances into its songs, starting with King’s dynamic, uncorked-fire-hydrant voice.
